As with all my Brand Roundups, I did my usual digging to find these brands, on ethical blogs, pintrest, google, marketplace sites and I found a lot more than I'd bargained for. But a lot of them definitely weren't a bargain. I'm very happy to say that there's a huge range of ethical and sustainable swimwear brands out there many of which are using the latest technology in creating swimwear from recycled and smart materials
So today’s set has a range of companies, from the handmade independent brands to those who are really pushing to boat out, not all of them are student budget friendly but they're all worth a mention. So enjoy!

Handmade in Spain and with men's and women's styles ALL SWIM has a pretty diverse range of swimwear. If I wore men's swimwear I would definitely go for a pair of those galaxy trunks, though they also have ones with aliens on so I'm really torn.

The clue is in the name with these guys they have cute bikinis, and plenty of them. Their pieces are made sweatshop free in Vancouver, Canada from Italian eco-fabric. They're devoted to making sure everything from the elastic to the last zipper are ethically sourced and only use green energy to create their swimwear. I'm a huge fan of their tie front bikini bottoms, and they have some amazing colours to chose from too.
I've been a big fan of NUN for a long time, even before I started looking into ethical fashion I loved their designs. They're one of the few brands in Asia which are sweatshop free and all of their pieces are made by four seamstresses who are paid a fair wage and get paid a decent wage. From bikini tops with hoods to collard and zippers I really do want to buy one of their bikinis one day. They also have a pretty amazing clothing collection which is worth checking out.

These guys make plus sized swimwear, Uk size 16-20, made in Italy from Italian fabric. They;re also currently having a massive sale meaning their pieces are pretty much all under £40, a definite win.
Souldaze Collection offer limited edition collections of Eco conscious, ethically made pieces designed and manufactured in Rome. All of their pieces are made from natural fibre, recycled fibre, surplus, or vintage fabric. Their swimwear is super cute and pretty unique I'm loving their unique materials and shapes. Plus they have a pretty cute clothing collection too.
