So this is the post I've been talking about doing for a while and the truth is... I got some of my hair shaved off! I've been wanting to do it for such a long time but my school had really strict uniform policies. So now I'm finished school it's the perfect opportunity. And I also have a vlog of it to share with you too!
So here's the before and after shot. with a change of clothes because I was trying on my ball dress at the time and didn't think to change out of it to take pictures.... oops. They're not the best quality but I'm sure I'll have an outfit post up soon with my new hair.
I'm honestly so happy to be free of school and to just have the next year to work, blog and travel. It still hasn't quite hit me yet that I am free, I keep thinking about revision I need to be doing and when I need to be ready for my next exam and then I realise I don't have one. I got through 16 and lived so that's an achievement in itself.
I might go and get some more hair off soon, I went a bit safer this time as for work I'm able to cover it quite easily at the moment. The stubble feels so strange and it seems to be growing quite fast.
I'm off to London for the weekend tomorrow(for afternoon tea, super exciting), and then off on holiday to Corfu on Thursday. I should have a post scheduled for when I am away but I will be updating instagram if you're interested in what I'm getting up to. I am going to vlog Corfu so another video is soon to come! And I do need to start my main channel so if you guys have any video suggestions then do let me know.
I hope you enjoyed my first video and that you have a great weekend.

Looks so good! It's so important to mix things up sometimes, and hair is such a good thing to experiment with. I love changing mine up, knowing nothing I do to it is ever permanent. Hav rfun in Corfu!

School Is Over!!!! time for a change! Agreed.
When I finish my school (next year) I will immediately dye my hair into rainbow color so when I go to my graduation ceremony, I will be the most "rainbow"-ish person lol

Wow you are so brave! I love the side shave stuff but I don't think I would ever actually do it. It looks amazing-good for you for going for it. Congrats on finishing school and your next year sounds like something to look forward to :)

Aha well it's something I wanted done so I went for it! Aha why not? I mean it's a big change but I can cover it if i need and it will grow back :) Thank you! I'm planning it at the moment and I'm getting so excited <3
ReplyDeleteAw thank you I am glad! It's strange, it's like having really soft stubble on my head and it's growing out into shorter hair really quickly actually.
ReplyDeleteYeah, or go for something completely different next time!
Yeah that sounds good, I'm probably going to dye mine lavander purple or silver soon just because <3
School is done for me too! but wow you are so brave, i'd never be able to shave some of my hair off!
ReplyDeletei'd love for you to check out my latest post :)

so cool that you went for something you wanted to do. i've been wanting to dye my hair some sort of interesting color, but i'm afraid of dealing with the inevitable regrowth of my roots (i have practically black hair)

Oh, that's so cool! I would never have the guts to shave off the side of my hair; I usually just cheat and do a faux shaved design braid haha Yay to freedom!

Aww I used to have an undercut a while ago and really think about getting one again but I'm even more thinking about getting my hair cut a little shorter just generally first ahah.
ReplyDeleteI think you really pull it off well btw!

ReplyDeleteOoh, I would be too scared to do this!! Good on you. How was afternoon tea? I'm a Londoner and have tried so many places...I just can't decide where's my favourite!

ReplyDeleteI love the new side shave, I have been thinking of doing one for ages, but didn't have the balls, I might do it sooner or later :D
Corfu is awesome, we were there a few summers ago, just make sure your hotel is all inclusive, they have the best all inclusive packages! ^_^
Wow this is so fierce - hope you have a great Summer!

Really brave! Reminds me of my time having a sidecut! Growing it out can take a while but I believe you rock this new haircut!

Aha really? That's so strange!
ReplyDeleteAh we didn't go all inclusive, which didn't matter as food was so cheap out there <3
It was really nice actually, I had a milk free option and it was the nicest milk free meal I've ever had. I have a new post up about it actually <3
ReplyDeleteGive it a go anyway! You can always grow it back <3
