This post was written a long time ago, back when I was still participating in the fast fashion system. If you want more information on why haul content is actually really bad for people and the planet click here
So as I mentioned in my last post, I went to Manchester on the weekend. Mainly to visit my sister but also to do some well needed shopping. I spend quite a bit but it has been my first proper shop in a while and I definitely tired myself out, a lot.
I got home yesterday alright, though the train was late a bit because of the storm. I mean it's bad in London but I think the country is overexadurating this storm a little bit. All I saw was a lot of rain and I'm preeetty sure the UK can deal with some rain...
I decided to do a haul post because I love reading other people's haul posts and getting some inspiration on what to shop for so thought I'd do one of my own.
There are a lot of pictures here and I'm not really sure whether to put it under a read more but there we go. I'll post clothes first and then go onto some anime related stuff I just had to buy (Afflecks palace makes me spend so much money).
Super Cosy Cardigan £12 - Primark
BDG and Unsmiley Crop tops £5 and £10 - Urban Outfitters
Smiley leggings £12.99 - H&M Jeans £12 -Grin (Ground Floor of Afflecks Palace)
Joy Division T Shirt £12.99 - Panic Posters (Afflekcs Palace)
Red Combat boots I'm in love with £19 - Primark
So that's the end of the clothes bit. May I say that Jean shopping is the bane of my life, I tried on 50+ pairs and none of them fit right (especially in H&M) and just as I'd given up hope I found some in Afflecks Palace for £12 which are a little too big but so comfy and they'll do the job.
Also Im in love with the boots from Primark but they're plasticky so probably won't last that long *sob* if anyone finds similar ones that are sturdy then please comment, I will love you forever.
Anyway onto the more anime/ "kawaii" things (there are two parts of me that are very different).
Madoka Magica Figure £10 - Levarb's Anime (Afflecks Palace)
I just had to take loads of photos of this.
Rilakkuma Purse £10 - A "kawaii" Shop 3rd Floor Afflecks Palace
Totoro Bag £30 - Same shop as Rilakkuma Purse
I feel really weird just ending the post here, I didn't take photos of everything toghether and kind of wish I had now. I'm very pleased with all my purchases and think I found some pretty good bargains. If you're ever in Manchester and like Vintage clothes, Anime, Fandom stuff then I definitely recommenced Afflecks Palace. And for lunch I ate at Wings which was amazing and Im craving duck and soy chicken right now ;A;
As I said before I'm not sure where/if to put a read more on this post so for now I won't and let me know if you think the post needs one.
I'm already thinking of outfits to style with my new clothes so stay tuned for those c:
obsessing over those combat boots and your adorable totoro bag <3
ReplyDeleteAs am I tbh, It's my second totoro bag because the first (different one) I got was useless as a school bag and kept breaking so I gave up fixing it, let's hope this one i more sturdy <3
DeleteLooks like you got some real bargains. I live in manchester but I'm useless at hunting for a good bargain! Love the urban tees.

I always shop in the sale, I never really buy anything unless it's a bargain, so i've gotten good that way c;
DeleteThose Urban tees are great! I also think that I NEED those smiley face leggings from H&M, so cute.
