The Quirky Environmentalist is a sustainable living  blog focused on living life more planet friendly, and talking about environmental issues. I pride myself on being a very helpful human being and really want to help other people understand environmental issues and become eco warriors in their own rights.

This blog is about learning, about trying to make more conscious choices, while highlighting people doing wonderful things for the world. It is a non judgemental space that serves as a place to learn and grow. I always love hearing what you have to say, so please give suggestions of any content you want to read from me!

About the Author
The Quirky Queer is run, photographed, and written by Izzy McLeod (they/them), a non-binary MSc student from Cardiff currently studying Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology.

Izzy started muccycloud back in 2013 as a personal blog and posted reviews, Japanese Street Fashion, and animal crossing. Over the years the site has evolved with Izzy and it is now a labour of love and a lot of hard work. Tackling the climate crisis and social justice. Though Izzy is mostly focused on their degree right now, so things are a bit quiet here, you can often see them posting on twitter or instagram.

This site has led the way for Izzy to work as Year of Green Ambassador for DEFRA in 2019, as well as various environmental organisations. And to the creation of the Who Made My Pride Merch campaign which aims to highlight and protect LGBT+ garment workers across the world.
