I decided not to go with a musical title today and just state what the outfit was. I'm actually wearing this today (thought the photos were taken a few days ago) and considering it was overcast the photos turned out great.

Shirt - Urban Outfitters (Old) // Skirt - Charity Shop (Originally H&M) // Bag - Primark (shh) // Socks - Topshop // Shoes - Shuch //

I've always been in love with this shirt and I'm now in love with the skirt too (so I'll probably be wearing this outfit a lot). I mean £6 in a charity shop was not a bad buy. And though the bag is plastic I think it'll last a while and it's not too bad, I love the pattern anyhow.

Pictures taken by Lizzie.
I actually love how these turned out, a bit quirky is I may say so myself, but it works. It was annoyingly windy this day so my hair was everywhere but again, it kind of worked.

Thanks for reading, should have an art feature for you guys tomorrow.

So I've noticed a trend creeping in recently and that is holographic stuff. There's at least one item in every high street store, mostly shoes and bags. But it's also starting to creep in as embellishments on t shirts and hats too. I'm starting to fall in love with it so I thought I'd share some wishlists (so you can get your own holographic items) and some outfit inspiration so you can incorporate it into your everyday look.

So Shoes and bags are the main think with a holographic twist on them, and I'm in love with all of these, it has to be said. It's always a good way to incorporate something like this without going too over the top, add some matching nail varnish and you're good to go.

Accessories are also a good add on, with your shoes it an extra sparkle. This is a bit messy, sorry I didn't realise how light the text was.

And of course here's some inspiration and ideas on how you could wear these holographic items.

Trend and Set - Holographic Hallucinations

So today's look (taken yesterday) was rather 90s kind of grungey, the obvious song choice would have been Nirvana but that's cliche and I'm saving it for when I wear one of my many Nirvana tops. So I chose Pearl Jam, another great band of the Nineties, the song it as the bottom (released in 1993).
Crop Top - Primark (I know) // Skirt - Urban Outfitters // Shoes - Schuh // Flower Ring - handmande //
The necklace I'm wearing actually came free with a choker I ordered from Twirly Trinkets (you can view my review here).
I love this skirt so much, it's a nice length, slightly awkward to walk in, and it's really soft and comfy. Plus you can wear it shorter by tying it.

Not that many pictures as it was overcast and we took a lot of shoe and other pictures before changing the camera setting to do with the weather. I thought the picture of the door worked well with the outfit?

*This is a review sponsored by Kpop2.com*
Note: I have edited the pictures in the review but I have not edited the colour of the lenses at all.

So first off these lenses are part of Kpop2's $10.99 lense range which you can view here. These are great for if you're not willing to splash a lot of cash on a pair of lenses, especially if they're your first pair and you're not sure if you'll like them or not. You also get free shipping and a lense case so it's great all round

They sent the lenses out on the 11th of June and they arrived on about the 19th I think which is pretty fast shipping from Korea (I was then on holiday for a couple of days which is why I'm doing the review now). They came in a bright pink padded envelope and were wrapped in bubblewrap so it seemed safe enough. I forgot to take photos of that though... whoops.

The first couple of pictures are a bit off as I remembered last night I needed to take pictures before I opened the bottles... And the lense in the bottple wasn't cooperating at all ¬_¬. I was a bit dissapointed at first because in the bottle the lenses looked grey but once I tool them out (as you can see below) they were quite green.

I couldn't get a picture of the lense in it's case as I use a Hydrogen Peroxide cleaning thing with a special case, but this is what it looks like out of the bottle.
Info about the lenses:
You can get the same ones here for $10.99
Diameter: 14.00mm
Water Content: 38%
Frquency Range: 0.00 to -9.00
Duration of Use: 6 Months or more

Design - 4/5:
The design on these is actually really nice, however the whole design doen't show up on my eyes unless I'm under artificial light.  I took a mark off for that and the fact that the limbal ring is a bit big for my liking, it takes away from the design a bit in my opinion.

Colour -3.5/5
The colour is nice, but it's not amazing. It looks great when it's out of my eyes but as soon as it's in them it's kind of taken away and only slightly alters my natural eye colour (apart from the black ring). You can't see the variety of colours from the lense in my eyes most of the time, just the outer green. It maybe different for darker eyes but for me there's no dramatic colour change.

Enlargement - 5/5
Considering these are 14.0mm lenses they enlarge my eyes a hell of a lot. As soon as I put them in I noticed that my eyes looked pretty big, I think this is a lot to do with how large the limbal ring is. So for the size of the lenses there is a huge enlargement.

Naturalness - 2.5/5
In the pictures the lenses don't look too unrealistic. But when I was wearing them in real life I felt somewhat like a reptile and I think these would be good for cosplaying some sort of lizard. They just felt really unrealistic to me. Again I think it's because the limbal ring is just so thick that it makes your eyes look really unnatural. People will definitely be able to tell you're wearing lenses. They do make my eyes look really young and babyish at the same time too.

Comfort - 4/5
Although they were relatively comfortable they did irk a little bit. My left eye hurt a lot but this was because (As I discovered when I took them off) I had a tiny bit of dirt in them. And the right eye was comfortable but I could still tell I was wearing lenses and I didn't feel I could keep them in for a long long time.

Overall - 3.5/5
These are good if you want really large eyes but small diameter lenses and don't mind them looking unnatural. The colour is nice but nothing to shout about and I will definitely be wearing these again. The reason they're not a lower score is because they are great value for money, only $10.99 for these lenses is a pretty good deal and good if you just want to try that really large eye look out. I also think these lenses are probably more suited to those with darker eyes.

Obligatory selfie. these lenses definitely made me feel cool and make it feel like I had giant eyes. I kept widening my eyes and being like 'wow they huuge'. And looking at this picture they do look pretty nice.

As I've changed my tumblr blog layout (from just pink to whatever I feel like) I've found myself reblogging more super cool art and just thought I'd like to share some with you guys. So I think each week I'll try and do an art feature to show you a new artist whose work I'm falling in love with and this week I've chosen Zain (ざいん).

Firstly I've got to say a lot of the art I'll post will be this sort of style, I don't know why but it's a style I#m in love with and I style I wish I could do myself (but alas I cannot). I love the vivid almost metallic bright colours that give these pieces a futuristic feel and I find that a lot of art done in this style looks brilliant as a sketch or something completely refined (and I have a mixture in this post).

I also compiled these from a mixture of places as ざいん has:
DeviantArt // Pxiv // Blog //
I looked through all of these places finding art works I love so enjoy.
Source
This is probably my favourite image by him, everything is so realistic in a sort of surreal way. The items have a real feel to them but the colours are so obscured that it lookd unreal. It's a simplistic scene, a mess that looks so perfect and chilled.

Source

This picture is less refined, kind of sketchy but it still works. It's like the blurry feeling you get when traveling on a train at night when you're almost drifting off to sleep. But somehow the details are still there in a blury kind of way
Source
I've noticed he uses the same colours a lot, pink and blue with slight tinges of green, especially for his original character work. Maybe this is what appeals to me. But with this picture it's just so obscure yet so... cool that you kind of just want to trying sitting in a UFO catcher machine, thought i wouldn't want to leave my stuff out like that, might get stolen...
Lastly this very sketchy piece. I'd love to see this refined and finished but it's also perfect as it is. Again the use of the same three colours but these are the base layers so you can see how he builds things up. His concepts are so cool too.

Can you tell that I'm in love with his work? Are you?

These photos are all from the same day as my last post (but I haven't updated in a while, sorry about that) but I was wearing this outfit again today for shopping so I thought it was a good time to post it. I mostly bought winter clothes today because there were a lot on sale (I mean Zara had a massive sale) so I won't be able to show you that until it's a bit cooler here in the UK but I'm hoping that's a while away.
I also bought some new eyeliner (both from Rimmel London) which I may review sometime soon and I got some stuff for my new circle lenses which I will be reviewing hopefully tomorrow for you guys, exciting stuff.
Anyway now on with the outfit post.

Necklace - Market Stall in Barcelona // Croptop - Topshop // Skirt - Miss Selfridges // Flipflops -Unknown //

I absolutely love this skirt, it's a pain in the butt in the wind because it flaps everywhere but it's perfect for hot conditions as it's thin and also cold as you can wear tights underneat and a pair it with a cosy jumper. You will probably be seeing it in a fair few outfit posts in the future.

I look a bit startled in the last photo, but it'ss different to my usual face post (idek) so I thought it worked and it's not like awful.
Oh yeah the title, I thought 'this is a simple outfit, simple title....' and then Simple Song by The Shins popped into my head. They're a really good band to listen to in the sunshine or when you want to imagine you're in the sunshine, pretty chill and sweet. So have a listen the music video is pretty interesting too if you want to look for that c:

Thanks for reading guys and see you again soon :D

So these photos were from yesterday and by most people's standards... it wasn't hot. But at like 27 degrees C it was pretty hot for the uk (especially as the past 2 summers have been rain and like 18 degrees). My hair was in the way and really anoying me so I put it back which helped because is was way to hot for a fringe today anyway ) hence the title. Don't have many photos as Tom didn't manage to get any attractive ones of me (luckily Lizzie has now agreed to be my photographer).

Dress - Market Stall // Shoes - Charity Shop (originally from Next) //

These shoes are really cute, but they're a bit big and therefore awkward to walk in...

Yeah there are a lot of feet, so I guess this isn't the post for you if you don't like feet. Me and Tom went down to the beach and he threw me in the sea .n. But I was cool after so kind of glad he did. Most people don't go in the sea at our local beach because it's a bit grimy but if it's hot enough then you do see the occasional mad person swimming. That's Tom in the last photo, looking cool and surferish, I hope he doesn't mind me posting that... oh well.

Bit of a short post, but thanks for reading anyway.

Enjoy your day!

I guess the blogs I follow have kind of inspired my wishlist this July, I meant to add more items, I was debating between doing another couple of categories with like The elements and some Psycadellic inspired clothing but I'd been putting off and putting off doing this post and wanted to get it out there.

I guess my style is changing a bit, thanks to a lot of the blogs I follow on blogger and bloglovin I've fallen in love with a good few styles now. From the cuteness of lolita and harajuku street fashion to more high fashion style and the ''grungy'' sort of look, so that'll be Incorporated more. I guess a lot of the blogs I look at have one ''main'' style which I guess a lot of their readers relate to and follow but I don't quite know where I'm going in terms of fashion, I just wear what I like regardless of if it ''fits in'' to a certain style. So really I don't know where this blog is going, and it's why I've kept the layout quite simple, because I don't want it to be all cutesy and pink when my fashion doesn't always follow that and I know I've only got like 4 followers at the moment but I hope to improve and reach more people in the future. Any concrit I would be happy to hear.

Anyway now onto the actual wishlist...

6. One Teaspoon Freaky Love Denim Bustier - DollsKill $65.00

I haven't really worn pastel colours since I was about 5 and everything had to be pink or purple. But I thought now was as good time as ever to put some colour into my wardrobe, but pastels aren't always the easiest to just add to an outfit. Which is why I chose a few pairs of shoes, because even if you have an outfit that's just plain old black and white, adding a bright pastel pair of heels or boots can really add something and some colour to said outfit. Other than that I seem to be a bit shoe obsessed lately... can you tell I like NastyGal's shoes?

Black and White

I may have said that I was going more into pastel, and I am, but black and white is just so simple and can go with pretty much any outfit. Again, lots of shoes, but who doesn't love shoes? You may also be able to tell I'm a little in love with UNIF, their stuff is so expensive but so nice, I need a pair of hellbounds in my life, I'd finally be really tall.
Sorry there's only a few items, after picking items I realised a lot were real hassle to edit so I gave up...

A lot of this wasn't on a budget I was more looking at items to treat yourself with or items I've just fallen in love with. So if anyone wants a ''Budget Shopping'' wishlisty type of thing, just let me know in the comments and I will get on that (I probably will anyway).

Thanks for reading
Have a Great Day

The title, I'm a genius I know. I'm joking of course, I couldn't think of anything better to say about this, and the pictures were taken on Sunday, hence the name. There are only a few photos as most were awful, my hair was windswept and I did tell Tom (the lovely boyf and current photographer - he needs training) that taking photos from above was really unattractive but he didn't listen ¬_¬ oh well. I thought not to waste the effort and the fact I really love this outfit I would post it anyway. Maybe I'll repost it but with better pictures sometime.
Ok so this was honestly the best picture of it like full body, but oh well.
Oh and my tights are not a pair of socks with tights underneath, it's all one and they were only like £2, double win.
Choker - Twirly Trinkets // Dress - YesStyle.com // Belt - Made from old belt // Bag - Ollie & Nic. // Tights - ASDA // Shoes - Doc Martens from Amazon //

Yeah the pictures were taken just after it had been raining so the lighting isn't brilliant, I'm definitely improving my editing though. Hopefully next outfit post the pictures will be better. If you haven't already seen it I have a review of the choker here.

Oh and on the subject of chokers MochiMir now do chokers, like for fairy kei, they're uber cute so check them out. Don't forget to use the code"YOUSOKAWAII" for 10% off your order.

Thanks for reading, have a great day.

Sunday without the sun

So a lot of people in the sort of ''kawaii'' blogging sphere (really don't know what to call it) love singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. If you don't know who she is then have you been living under a rock? Anyway not only are her cute tunes incredibly catchy but she also has an AMAZING wardrobe, probably styled by a stylist (or not feel free to correct me) but anyway I love everything (well almost everything) she wears and thought I'd share some of them for inspiration. There are a lot of outfits here so it's a little bit of a long post.

So first this is pretty basic but it's nice and obviously Kyary Looks amazing in it.
Well any long t shirt will do and I can't find this one, sorry :(
Socks (similar) // Shoes //

I'm really in love with this outfit, it's quite basic but the spots of the shoes work the with stripes of the skirt and just aragh I love it and I want all these clothes!
All clothes here are similar.
Blazer // T shirt //  Skirt // Socks // Shoes //
And because the blazer I found was plain I found a tutorial on studding it if you wanted to do that. I think it's actually spotty but I'm sure you can find small round studs to use.

I love this dress it's all flowy and stuff and again the stripes with the spots work well. I also always love Kyary's hair I don't know how they get it so smooth and perfect all the time because mine's always all over the place.
Everything similar c: And I think (if they are doc martens) the boots were limited edition so I can't find them anywhere anymore .n. If anyone finds any anywhere do let me know
Dress  (not that similar sorry) // Leggings // Boots //
